ASX-listed online transport marketplace Jayride today welcomed Andrew Coppin to its board.
Mr Coppin is an experienced director, active early stage investor and venture fund manager who has considerable experience with technology start-ups, turnarounds and high growth companies.
His professional experience spans all areas of financial markets, including capital raising, wealth management, business operations, compliance and disruptive, leading edge technology.
He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a Master Stockbroker (MSAFAA) and the holder of an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL).
Jayride Chairman Andrey Shirben said Mr Coppin’s appointment follows the resignation of former board member Jamila Gordon due to other commitments.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Andrew to the Jayride board and I look forward to the company benefitting from his significant experience in managing high growth technology businesses and skills in promoting companies in capital markets,” Mr Shirben said.
Mr Coppin joins a fast-growing company with a global footprint.
“It’s great to be involved with an exceptional Australian technology company and I look forward to being part of Jayride’s strategic growth and development as we enhance transport options and functionality for business and family travellers the world over,” Mr Coppin commented.
Jayride is the world’s leading airport transfer website – currently more than 1000 passenger trips to and from hundreds of airports are booked through www.jayride.com every day and volume is growing strongly each quarter.
Its platform enables consumers to compare and book transfers at 1000+ airports in 60 countries around the world through partnerships with 3500 transport companies. Jayride is based in Sydney and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in early 2018.
