As the weather warms up in the Southern Hemisphere, the best cricket players from Australia and England are getting ready to battle it out on the pitch in one of the world’s greatest sporting contests – the Ashes. Are you ready?

The Magellan Ashes are returning to Australian soil for the first time in four years. From 23 November 2017 to 4 January 2018, England and Australia will vie for victory and the prized Urn across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. It’s a huge sporting event, attracting thousands of patrons to each Test match and over 1.2 million people tuning in to watch the matches on their TV screens. Where and when?
The Ashes series will kick off in Brisbane at The Gabba with the first Test from 23-27 November 2017, followed by Adelaide Oval for the second Test from 2-6 December. From 14-18 December the teams head over to the WACA stadium in Perth for the third Test, then the MCG in Melbourne for the fourth Test from 26-30 December. The Sydney Cricket Ground will host the fifth and final Magellan Ashes Test, from 4-8 January as well as the 10th ‘Pink Test’, where the stadium and crowd will turn pink in support of the McGrath Foundation. Founded by Aussie fast-bowler Glenn McGrath and his late wife Jane, the McGrath Foundation provides physical, psychological and emotional support for those experiencing breast cancer.
